Job summary

Child Development Schools in Clayton, NC is seeking a dedicated Bus Driver to provide safe, reliable transportation for students to and from school and activities. You will support early education efforts by assisting classrooms with the Lead Teacher and fostering a nurturing learning environment for young children.

You will engage with children during daily routines, observe their progress, and share notes with teachers.

Qualifications

• Provide safe, reliable transportation for students to and from school and activities.
• Support classrooms alongside Lead Teacher and help young learners through meaningful experiences.
• Observe children and share developmental notes with the Lead Teacher.
• Build relationships with families through warm, consistent daily communication.
• Support classroom documentation including attendance and daily reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, reliable transportation for Before and After School programs.
• Engage directly with children during activities, meals, transitions and outdoor time.
• Observe children and share developmental notes with the Lead Teacher.
• Build positive relationships with families through consistent daily communication.
• Maintain a safe Bus environment and assist with classroom documentation as needed.
