Job summary

Via Student Transit in St. Louis is seeking safe, reliable local drivers to transport students to and from school using their own vehicle. Earn up to $30/hour on scheduled routes with new driver bonus and flexible shifts.

Shifts are two 2-4 hour blocks on weekdays, with hours around morning and afternoon school times. You are responsible for fuel, maintenance, and personal auto insurance; live support is available on the road.

Qualifications

• Be at least 25 years old.
• Valid U.S. driver's license.
• Minimum 5 years of unrestricted U.S. driving history.
• Active personal auto insurance.
• A qualifying personal vehicle (4 doors, no older than 10 years, able to pass a safety inspection).
• Fingerprint-based background check.
• Drug screening.
• Motor vehicle record check.
• Smartphone compatible with the Via Driver App.

Responsibilities

• Drive scheduled student transportation routes using your own vehicle.
• Complete two 2-4 hour shifts on weekdays (AM 6:30-9:30, PM 2:00-5:00).
• Ensure safe transport of students to and from school.
• Follow program safety requirements and routing guidance.
