Job summary

Adams and Associates, Inc. seeks a Driver for the Delaware Valley Job Corps Center in Callicoon, NY. The role supports student and staff transportation, operates Center vehicles, and follows safety and transportation regulations to keep the Center running smoothly.

Shifts available: 10am-7pm Wed-Sun, or 1pm-10pm Fri-Tues; off Wed-Thu. Must have a high school diploma, in-state driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Competitive benefits and employment protections apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid in-State Driver's License required and ability to meet Company insurability requirements.
• Ability and commitment to maintain a safe and structured environment.
• Must be able to sit, stand, climb, walk, lift, pull/push, carry, reach, stoop, and crouch; able to lift 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, timely, and reliable transportation for students as assigned.
• Conducts routine vehicle inspections and ensures required maintenance, repairs, and documentation are completed.
• Maintains accurate vehicle records and complies with DOL/Company transportation requirements.
• Performs routine maintenance inspections of Center facilities and systems and reports issues or needed repairs.
• Completes and documents assigned work accurately and within established deadlines.
• Assists other departments with operational needs as assigned.
• Promotes positive student behavior and models Career Success Standards.
• Communicates effectively with students, staff, and supervisors and works collaboratively across departments.
