Job summary

West Ada School District seeks a Student Activities & Athletics Support Worker to assist with event production, filming, statistics, and AV support for school activities and athletics. This part-time student position offers hands-on experience in media and technology across events, performances, and competitions.

You will work with coaches, advisors, and staff, handling video, photos, and communications materials while learning district software and equipment in a school setting.

Qualifications

• Must be a currently enrolled West Ada School District student in good standing.
• Interest or experience in athletics, activities, event production, technology, media, communications, or related areas.
• Ability to learn and operate cameras, computers, audio/visual equipment, software, and other technology.

Responsibilities

• Assist with filming athletic contests, performances, activities, practices, and other school events.
• Operate cameras and video equipment for live events, game film, promotional content, or team/program use.
• Assist coaches with video organization, editing, uploading, and management.
• Record and maintain athletic statistics and other event-related information.
• Operate scoreboard, timing, scoring, or other event technology as assigned.
• Assist with lighting, sound, microphones, and AV equipment for performances and events.
• Assist with setup, operation, and teardown of event production equipment.
• Provide technical support for presentations, meetings, and other activities.
• Assist with photography and social media content supporting school programs.
