Boys Town in Omaha, NE is seeking a Student Teacher for Spring 2027 placement. Starting pay is a $5,000 stipend; full-time, Monday–Friday, during school hours. You will gain hands-on classroom experience under a certified mentor teacher.

You’ll plan and deliver lessons, teach in various settings, and assess student learning while developing your teaching skills and preparing for your future as an educator.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a teacher education program required.
• Completion of pedagogy, child development, and curriculum design coursework required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver lessons alongside your mentor teacher
• Instruct students in whole-class, small-group, and individual settings
• Assess student learning and adapt instruction for diverse needs
