Job summary

The Linn-Mar Community School District is seeking a Student Support Associate to assist classroom teachers and support students with academic and social goals. You will help implement IEPs, provide small group instruction, and support safe, inclusive learning environments across classrooms.

Responsibilities include supervising students, assisting with personal care, reinforcing behavior plans, collecting data, and collaborating with teachers and support staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• CPR, First Aid and CPI training preferred or required.
• Experience working with students with special needs is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist and reinforce teacher instruction and IEP goals.
• Provide small group or 1:1 instructional support and task completion.
• Assist with classroom safety, behavior management and data collection.
