Prior Lake - Savage Area Schools seeks a Student Support Paraprofessional at Glendale Elementary to support students under supervision of teaching staff. The position runs from September 10, 2026 to June 9, 2027, with a 6.5 hour workday and pay scale of $18.18–$21.66 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school graduate.
• Ability to work cooperatively with teachers and other staff.

Responsibilities

• Work with students to reinforce, review, and practice reading, math, and other academic skills under the direction of teaching and administrative staff.
• Provide one-to-one support to students under the direction of teaching and administrative staff.
• Provide small group support to students under the direction of teaching and administrative staff.
• Administer informal assessments under the direction of teaching and administrative staff.
• Monitor student behavior.
• Reinforce and practice with students appropriate social skills, and where appropriate, IEP/504 goals.
• Communicate student progress and student needs to teaching and administrative staff.
• Maintain strict confidentiality at all times.
