Job summary

The English Schools Foundation (ESF) seeks a full-time Educational Assistant at Clearwater Bay School in Hong Kong. You will support students to access the curriculum, work with teachers, and help with classroom activities and personal care as required.

Applicants should have GCSEs in Maths and English and be fluent in English. A HK residency or valid work visa is required. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis with interviews as part of the process.

Qualifications

• Relevant school experience preferred, not essential.
• At least GCSE A-C in Maths and English required.
• Must be a HK permanent resident or have a valid HK work visa.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the educational and social development of students.
• Support students in mainstream classes including all academic and/or specialist subjects.
• Assist in planning and implementing Individual Education Programs and monitoring progress.
• Support students with emotional/behavioural issues and help develop social skills/behaviours.
• Provide support for individual students inside and outside the classroom, including camps, visits and whole school activities.
• Assist students with personal care needs such as toileting and changing clothes.
