Job summary

Perris Elementary School District District Office - Perris, California is seeking a Substitute Supervision Aide to help maintain safety and order across campus during before school, recess, lunch and after school dismissal.

Under supervision, you will observe and guide students, supervise playground and cafeteria activities, enforce rules, document incidents, and support staff while providing a positive, supportive presence for youth. Starting date is immediate and pay is $18 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 2- Letter of Recommendation (dated within the year).
• CPR & First Aide.

Responsibilities

• Observes and controls behavior of students according to approved procedures.
• Supervises children on the playground and cafeteria; issues and collects playground equipment.
• Reports undesirable student playground behavior to the students' teachers and/or the Principal/designee.
• Organizes and supervises group playground activities when required.
• Assists students by providing proper examples, emotional support, a friendly attitude and general guidance.
• Maintains records and files as appropriate.
• Assures the health and safety of students by following all health and safety rules.
• Participates in meetings and inservice training programs as assigned.
• Checks for and reports to the Principal, actual and potential safety hazards.
• Breaks up fights and takes students involved to site administrator/designee.
• Enforces the school's clean campus rules.
• Performs all other related duties as assigned.
