Job summary

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in education, social work, psychology or related field.
• NJDOE Substitute Certification within 90 days of entering position.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising students during all aspects of the school day.
• Assist with crisis management plans including conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Help teachers prepare instructional materials and provide instruction to students.
• Support planning lessons, field trips and special projects.
• Maintain positive relationships with students and staff.
