Job summary

Qualifications

• Four-year degree or equivalent required.
• State or provincial teaching credentials preferred.
• Minimum of one year teaching experience preferred.
• AA degree required in a discipline; 3+ years college math.

Responsibilities

• Prepares for each instructional session and gathers materials.
• Greets students and initiates instruction to engage each student.
• Instructs students using Sylvan program materials.
• Manages session time to create balanced instruction.
• Evaluates and records student progress on assignments.
• Uses praise to keep students engaged and inspired.
