Job summary

Madison College is seeking an Associate Program Advisor to join the RISE Coaching Office. The role provides individualized coaching, academic, career and transfer advising and case management to support student enrollment, persistence and retention.

The position is part-time (25 hours/week), Monday–Friday with flexible hours between 8:00am and 4:30pm. This Limited Term Employment ends June 30, 2027, with an initial review after August 20, 2026.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of academic advising principles and student support strategies.
• Experience with case management and coaching diverse student populations.
• Ability to document interactions and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Provides individualized coaching, academic, career and transfer advising to support enrollment and retention.
• Monitors student progress and responds to faculty alerts and concerns with timely outreach.
• Connects students with campus and community resources to support well-being and success.
• Delivers case management and retention support through proactive monitoring and referrals.
• Documents coaching interactions and tracks student outreach to support coordinated care.
