Job summary

Broward College in North Campus invites applications for a Student Support Specialist, Seahawk NEST Academy. This temporary role provides direct support to Seahawk NEST students and helps manage daily operations and student life activities to promote success.

Responsibilities include assisting with recruitment, enrollment, onboarding, and liaison with Vocational Rehabilitation, plus support for assistive technology, campus scheduling, and program events.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required.
• Three years of related experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
• Ability to interact with students and staff professionally.

Responsibilities

• Assist with recruitment, enrollment, and onboarding for Seahawk NEST Academy.
• Serve as liaison between Vocational Rehabilitation and NEST students.
• Assist students with campus schedules and assistive technology plans.
• Assist office tasks: greet visitors, respond to correspondences, support social media and events.
• Build community partnerships and participate in professional meetings and events.
