Qualifications

• Ability to follow safety practices and procedures.
• Availability to work during weekday evenings and weekends as needed.
• Knowledge of lighting, audio or set construction and basic power tools.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and move equipment as required.
• Must be a current district high school student at West High School.
• Clear English communication in reading, writing, and speaking.

Responsibilities

• Support lighting design, light board operation, rigging and set up.
• Operate sound and light boards and assist with basic light design and EQ.
• Assist with scene changes, props and fly system during performances.
• Handle set construction tools, stage equipment setup and storage.
• Maintain and organize auditorium and theatre equipment.
• Ensure backstage safety and attend production meetings.
