The position requires an Associates degree, two years of college, or passing a state assessment, with strong preference for special education experience.

Qualifications

• Associates degree, two years of college, or passed state assessment required to assist in math, reading and writing.
• Special education experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Instruct student(s) as assigned.
• Follow student-specific programming.
• Collect and graph data, if necessary.
• Provide reinforcement strategies.
• Use appropriate prompting procedures.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living.
• Experience with behavior de-escalation strategies preferred.
• Any such other related duties as may be assigned by the building principal or designee.
