Assist cardiac (adult or pediatric) and vascular sonographers with patient preparation, positioning, and education to help ensure a comfortable and positive experience throughout the exam process.
Observe and actively participate in echocardiography and vascular ultrasound procedures under direct supervision, gaining valuable hands-on clinical experience in a patient care setting.
Learn the operation, maintenance, and proper care of ultrasound equipment, ensuring exam rooms and imaging systems are prepared and ready for daily use.
Support image acquisition, measurements, and preliminary documentation while developing technical sonography skills under the guidance of experienced sonographers.
Collaborate with cardiac, vascular, and multidisciplinary care teams to help deliver high-quality diagnostic services and exceptional patient care.
Follow all patient privacy, safety, infection prevention, and hospital policies while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and ethical practice.
Participate in educational opportunities, case reviews, team discussions, and feedback sessions designed to enhance clinical knowledge and professional development.
Contribute to the efficiency and success of the imaging department by assisting with department operations and performing additional responsibilities as assigned.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Currently enrolled in an accredited Cardiovascular Sonography, Echocardiography, or Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
