Job summary

Dove Academy of Detroit is seeking a dedicated Student Supervision Aide to ensure student safety and support during school hours and activities. You will reinforce school policies and provide guidance to promote positive behavior and academic success.

You will maintain open communication with staff, monitor playground, lunchroom, and hallways, report unsafe conditions promptly, and assist in creating a respectful, secure learning environment for all students.

Responsibilities

• Enforces school policies and procedures.
• Applies disciplinary procedures per the site plan.
• Responsible for safety rules and their enforcement on school grounds.
• Knowledge of all emergency procedures.
• Cares for work area cleanliness (sweeping, trash removal).
• Maintains open lines of communication with staff.
• Monitors playground, hallway and lunchroom supervision periods.
• Reports unsafe playground conditions or equipment immediately.
• Keeps grounds clean and lunchroom floors presentable.
• Ensures outdoor structures are safe.
• Assumes other responsibilities assigned by the school leader.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Must be at least 18 years of age

Clean background check

Passed a physical exam to certify being in good health and drug free
