Job summary

Qualifications

• Three months of general experience. General experience is progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position to be filled, such as providing customer service and following standard procedures.
• Education: High School graduate (or equivalent).
• Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience and may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%.
• You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Interpersonal Skills, Oral Communication, Organizational Awareness.

Responsibilities

• Assemble students in designated areas to maintain order.
• Monitor students to prevent altercations.
• Assist students in performing simple tasks
• Provide direction regarding establishing hallway or lunchroom procedures.
• Instruct students on safety practices.
• Aid students with proper lunchroom cleanup procedures.
• Encourage safety by demonstrating basic safety procedures.
• Observe student behavior to report issues or problems.
