The Bone Healing Lab at The University of Iowa Health Care invites applications for an undergraduate Student Research Assistant in Orthopedics and Rehabilitation. The role supports daily lab activities, animal care, data entry, and record-keeping, with responsibilities aligned to lab goals and safety procedures.
Ideal candidates are current undergraduates with strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and the ability to work well in a team, including evenings and weekends as needed.
The University of Iowa Health Care, Department of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation's Bone Healing Lab (located on the Oakdale Research Campus in Coralville) is looking for undergraduate research assistants.
This position is for up to 20 hours per week during the school year and up to 40 hours per week in the summer. Must have reliable transportation (personal vehicle, Cambus, or other form of transportation) and be available evenings and weekends.
This position is only open to undergraduate students registered at an accredited institution. This position is open to UIowa students (S928) or non-UIowa students (PZ07) from which one will be hired.
Successful candidates will be subject to a criminal background check.
