Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking a Student Assistant 2 to perform basic administrative duties and assist in clinical and experimental research within the EHE | Human Sciences Administration-JM department. The role requires strong customer service and organization, with supervision by faculty and senior research personnel.

Position is temporary (fixed term) with 20 scheduled hours and First Shift.

Qualifications

• Responsibilities are basic and routine in nature.
• Excellent customer service and strong organizational skills.
• Will support clinical and experimental research under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Support senior personnel in clinical research and rodent models.
• Assist with lab-based research following established protocols.
• Maintain laboratory instrumentation and data entry using MS Office.
• Handle sample labeling, processing and storage.
• Provide courteous interactions with faculty, staff, students and participants.
• Assist with lab organization, inventory, and compliance tasks.
