The Radiologic Technologist Student works effectively with patients and physicians and maintains a cooperative relationship with interdepartmental personnel. Recognizes the purpose of employment is to prioritize the patient as number one and to put forth the utmost quality as a Student Technologist. Works under the supervision of a Registered Technologist. **What you will do*** Assists radiologists in performing radiologic imaging procedures. Select proper protocol to obtain optimal images and provides clinical documentation per scope of practice.* Performs with a high degree of safety and quality and prevents or reduces harms through knowledge and application of policies, procedures, protocols using safety behaviors. Responsible for the preparation of equipment, instrumentation, and departmental supplies required to support quality patient care. Follows ALARA principles according to policy.* Understands and adheres to all applicable regulatory and accrediting standards. Reports variances.* Coordinates patient care and performs effective assessment, actions, and documentation.
