Job summary

Reid Health is seeking a Student Nurse Tech to assist with basic patient care under RN supervision in a fast-paced emergency services unit. You will document vitals, assist with admissions/transfers, and help maintain clean, accurately recorded patient charts in real time.

Training may include daily huddles and collaboration across disciplines. The role requires enrollment in an accredited RN/LPN program, a high school diploma, and current BLS certification; healthcare experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High School Diploma and completion of RN/LPN program check-offs.
• Must be enrolled in an accredited RN/LPN program.
• Minimum BLS certification required.
• Healthcare experience (1 year) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care under RN supervision and follow infection control policies.
• Record vital signs and maintain accurate medical records in real time.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Collaborate with care teams and participate in unit huddles.
• Prepare rooms and equipment for procedures and ensure unit cleanliness.
