Regency Hospital - Macon is seeking a Student Nurse Technician (Future Registered Nurse) in Macon, GA. Per Diem/PRN schedule with compensation of $18.00 per hour. You must be enrolled in an ADN or BSN program and provide proof of completing the first year of nursing fundamentals.

Join a critical illness recovery hospital and gain diverse, hands-on experience aligned with NCLEX requirements. BLS certification is required upon hire and you will perform essential patient care tasks under RN

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in an accredited nursing school (ADN or BSN program).
• Evidence of completion of the first year/fundamentals of nursing (or equivalent).
• Knowledge of basic nursing techniques and aseptic practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist with vital signs, height, weight and demographic data collection.
• Provide personal and daily care: bathing, oral hygiene, shaving, hair care.
• Assist with catheter removal, finger-stick blood sugars, bladder scans, urine/stool collection, ostomy care, drainage collection.
• Remove peripheral IVs as directed by RN (within safety limits).
• Deliver meals and assist feeding, document intake.
• Turn and position immobile patients and assist with mobility programs.
• Transport patients to treatment centers as needed.
