The role supports nursing staff, helps with personal care tasks, and contributes to resident comfort while adhering to safety policies and documentation procedures.

Qualifications

• Proof of completion of 16-hour ADL training from an authorized school/instructor.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent self-discipline, patience, and a desire to serve others.
• Ability to follow safety policies and procedures.
• Basic computer literacy and ability to follow documentation protocols.
• Respect and adhere to the Patient Bill of Rights and Employee Responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to residents (grooming, bathing, peri care, dressing) under supervision.
• Change bed linens and maintain grooming supplies in resident rooms.
• Assist with ambulation and transfers using proper body mechanics and devices.
• Routinely reposition residents and monitor skin integrity.
• Support nursing staff by handling non-nursing tasks (making beds, assisting with drinks, answering call lights, organizing supplies).
• Assist with range of motion exercises and engage in reality orientation with residents.
• Identify and report any condition requiring management attention.

In This Role, You Will
