About the Position

Position Description

Primary Responsibilities

• Student Ministry Leadership (Primary Focus)
  • Build and lead a vibrant ministry for middle and high school students.
  • Recruit, train, and shepherd volunteer leaders.
  • Teach God’s Word in engaging, biblically faithful ways.
  • Plan camps, retreats, mission trips, outreach events, and student gatherings.
  • Develop a discipleship strategy that helps students become lifelong followers of Jesus.
  • Partner with parents as they disciple their children.
• Associate Pastor Responsibilities
  • Preach several weekends each year.
  • Provide pastoral care through hospital visitation, counseling, and shepherding.
  • Assist with baptisms, weddings, funerals, and other pastoral ministries.
  • Support the overall mission and vision of CompassLife Church.
  • Help strengthen marriages and families throughout the church.
