Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Student Worker Lead for Purdue Retail Dining in West Lafayette, IN. You will supervise and train student staff, manage daily food service operations, and ensure production aligns with menus and safety standards.

The role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask across catering events and daily service. This is a part-time student position at the Purdue location.

Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain work schedules and may prepare production records.
• Direct daily activities.
• Maintain food production to ensure safety and quality according to policies and department requirements.
• Ensure food items are stored safely and organized.
• Maintain serving schedules and ensure items served per menu specifications.
• Maintain a sanitary department following health and safety codes and regulations.
• Maintain inventory on a weekly basis.
• May assist with ordering to ensure accurate production.
• Supervise and evaluate employees; mentor growth and teamwork.
• Maintain a safe working environment.
• Train/mentor other food service workers.
• Maintain maintenance logs for equipment and perform preventive checks.
• Recommend equipment replacements to meet facility needs.
• Proficient at multi-tasking.
• Fill in for absent staff as needed.
