Jones Edmunds invites motivated engineering students to join its 2027 Summer Internship Program in Kentucky. This hands-on opportunity lets you apply classroom knowledge to roadway, civil site design, and water resources projects under the mentorship of experienced engineers.

You will assist with computations, data analysis, drawings, and project reviews while gaining exposure to quality standards and client-facing work.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in an accredited engineering program with at least 80 credit hours completed by Summer 2027.
  • No prior work experience required, just a willingness to learn and contribute.
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and enthusiasm for solving real-world problems.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with standard engineering computations, data analysis, and basic technical tasks.
  • Support project teams by preparing drawings, visual aids, maps, and tabular information.
  • Participate in project reviews, quality checks, and brainstorming sessions to gain insight into real-world project delivery.
  • Learn and apply the Jones Edmunds Quality Program, ensuring work meets company, industry, and client standards.
  • Communicate with your supervisor about progress and challenges, developing strong professional habits.

Key Responsibilities
