Job summary

Wiley|Wilson is now accepting applications for a summer 2027 paid Electrical Engineering internship in our Lynchburg, VA office. Interns work alongside licensed engineers on real projects and gain hands-on experience in electrical design and early project planning, attending client meetings and site visits whenever possible.

The internship is primarily in-office with some flexibility on remote work as determined with the manager.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in ABET-accredited Electrical Engineering program.
• Will complete at least your second year by summer 2027.
• Ability to learn electrical design processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist with electrical design and early project planning.
• Work on active projects and observe client meetings.
• Participate in site and construction visits whenever possible.
• Collaborate with licensed engineers to gain hands-on exposure.
