Job summary

Denver Public Schools is seeking a part-time, student-focused role for high school students in Colorado. You will support program initiatives, develop resources, and help create safe, engaging environments for learners.

Responsibilities include collaborating with staff to prepare materials, communicating with colleagues, and embracing the DPS philosophy of equity and accountability to foster student and community engagement.

Qualifications

  • Must be a current DPS high school student.
  • Knowledge of Google Workspace.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple demands and deadlines.
  • Ability to take responsibility for own performance.

About this job:

Works a set number of hours over one school year with a program specialist who will provide supervision, mentoring and support. Helps fulfill programmatic initiatives, as directed, and creates safe and engaging environments to support students.

What You'll Do:
  • Engages in responsibilities to implement high quality resources and programming

  • Develops an understanding of the education philosophy of Denver Public Schools and the goals to engage and inspire teacher participation, youth and community engagement
