Job summary

Aramark on MSU campus invites student workers to join our food service team at the Mississippi State University Moe's location. You will assist with food prep, service, and maintaining safety standards while gaining customer service skills on campus.

Experience in food service is preferred; you may need to obtain a food safety certification. Prior guest service experience is valued as you support guests and team members in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience preferred.
• Must have or acquire food safety certification.
• Demonstrates guest service skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and builds food items according to standardized recipes and directions.
• Properly stores food in accordance with standards.
• Sets up workstations including prep tables, service counters, hot wells, steam tables.
• Breaks down, cleans, and sanitizes workstations.
• Serves food to customers while ensuring guest satisfaction and anticipating needs.
• Replenishes food items and ensures product is stocked to appropriate levels.
• Maintains excellent customer service and positive demeanor towards guests and coworkers.
• Adheres to Aramark safety policies including food safety and sanitation.
