Job summary

Keiser University seeks a Financial Aid Officer to guide students through the financial aid process and ensure proper funding for each semester. You will assist FAFSA, determine Title IV eligibility, and explain funding options to students and parents.

You will also collect documents for verification, review weekly aid processing reports, and submit packages by deadlines while maintaining accuracy and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2–4 years of business experience.
• Familiarity with federal/state funding programs helpful.
• Knowledge of Title IV regulations helpful.
• Knowledge of Webclient software helpful.
• Financial Aid Experience helpful.
• Ability to work assigned/flexible hours necessary to complete the job on a weekly basis.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with FAFSA completion.
• Determine title IV eligibility.
• Create cost estimates and explain funding options to students and parents.
• Work with students to obtain documentation for verification.
• Review weekly reports to ensure all students' financial aid has been processed.
• Submit financial aid packages to be processed by deadlines.
• Ensure a low rate of return due to errors on all packages submitted.
• Provide excellent customer service and answers to student inquiries.
