Job summary

Covista is seeking a Student Finance Analyst I to support student finance operations, focusing on accurate processing of TIV aid and timely reporting. This role helps internal customers and external agencies, ensuring compliance with Title IV requirements.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree, relevant experience in student accounts or financial aid, and strong customer service skills. A hybrid work model and a competitive pay range are offered.

Qualifications

  • Uses knowledge of Title IV regulations with minimal guidance.
  • Runs and processes reports to identify, track and follow up on outstanding students.
  • Communicates student/account information with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Completes daily and weekly production reports and meets deadlines/SLAs.
  • Delivers on accountabilities with timeliness, accuracy and quality while managing multiple tasks.
  • Identifies operational and compliance risks.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Description

Under general direction, this position provides support for student finance operations teams. Performs the necessary student finance tasks as applicable to their team. This role is responsible for promoting student success through accurate and responsive processing of TIV aid and providing support to our internal customers and external agencies. Runs and processes reports required to identify, track and follow up on outstanding students.

Responsibilities
  • Completes student finance processing according to documented procedures.
  • Uses and applies knowledge of Title IV regulations with minimal guidance. Is proactive in seeking new knowledge on student finance related issues.
  • Runs and processes reports required to identify, track, and follow-up on outstanding students.
  • Effectively communicates student/account information with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Completes daily and weekly production reports while holding oneself accountable for meeting individual deadlines/SLAs.
  • Successfully delivers on expected accountabilities including timeliness, accuracy and quality while demonstrating ability to manage and deliver on multiple tasks in parallel.

In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $17.15 and $24.04/hr. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
