Job summary

The University of Nevada, Reno is recruiting for a student worker position with The College of Agriculture, Biotechnology and Natural Resources. The Nevada Agriculture Experiment Station seeks a ranch/farm hand at our Main Station Field Lab. The student must be a motivated self-starter, communicate effectively, and work well in a team environment.

They will go full-time during school breaks. Responsibilities include animal husbandry, veterinary care, pasture rotations, assisting with research

Qualifications

• Candidates must be students of the University of Nevada, Reno and must maintain a 2.0 GPA.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; candidates must demonstrate leadership and strong work ethic. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license.
