Job summary

Animal Medical Center of Jonesboro in Jonesboro, AR invites veterinary students to join a 3-doctor team for a paid externship that provides valuable, real-world clinical experience in a supportive hospital setting.

You will learn alongside experienced veterinarians and technicians while gaining exposure across wellness, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, urgent care, and client communication.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an AVMA-accredited veterinary school.
• Externship is paid for some graded externships, per school requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in wellness and preventive care.
• Assist in surgery and anesthesia.
• Assist in dentistry and diagnostics.
• Support urgent care and medical cases.
• Communicate with clients and provide patient care.

About Our Hospital

Animal Medical Center of Jonesboro is dedicated to delivering the very best care to our patients, but also to pets beyond our doors. Our community involvement includes providing medical services to police force dogs, the humane society, and numerous rescues and shelters in the area.
