Bachelor's degree. At least three years of branding, marketing, or communication strategy experience. Excellent project management abilities, interpersonal skills, and oral and written communication skills. Experience working across programs and teams to achieve goals. Ability to manage competing priorities, working independently and in collaboration with others. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and social media channels. At least 2 years professional or paraprofessional supervisory experience buying advertising, developing, and implementing special promotions, electronic media production, print production, sales, and/or marketing professional entertainment events.
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Experience building and cultivating strong partnerships in a university setting.Demonstrated experience and interest in serving university students. Skill with innovating and taking initiative to address needs of wide variety of stakeholders. Adaptability amid ambiguity and cross-team collaboration. Experience with equipment and processes used in the position's specific areas of responsibility, including automated systems.
$50,000 + depending on qualifications
Regular staff who have been employed in their current position for the last six continuous months are eligible for openings being recruited for through University-Wide or Open Recruiting, to include both promotional opportunities and lateral transfers. Staff who are promotion/transfer eligible may apply for positions without supervisor approval.
The retirement plan for this position is Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS), subject to the position being at least 20 hours per week and at least 135 days in length.
