Hood College invites a collaborative, student-centered Student Employment Specialist to strengthen on-campus student employment as part of a U.S. Department of Education SIP grant.

This temporary position supports students in gaining workforce readiness and meaningful work experiences. Under the Director of Career Development and Experiential Education, you will work with HR, Financial Aid, and campus supervisors to align student jobs with college goals and the NACE competencies.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 2 years in higher education, program management, career development, or related area.
• Strong organizational and project management skills and ability to coordinate multiple activities.
• Experience building relationships with students, faculty, staff, supervisors, and campus partners.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and handle sensitive information; knowledge of policy, payroll, or financial aid processes.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting to diverse audiences.
