Job summary

Southern New Hampshire University in Manchester, NH seeks an Education, Equity and Impact Assistant for Breakthrough Manchester. This student employee internship focuses on marketing, communications, event planning, and sharing Breakthrough's impact while gaining hands-on nonprofit experience.

Work 10 hours per week during the school year; compensation is $13.00–$15.00 per hour. Training is provided and you’ll collaborate with Breakthrough staff and educators to support programs and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in SNHU degree program.
• Work‑study eligible under financial aid package.
• Work‑study may be prioritized.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Communications & Social Media: create content for Breakthrough Manchester's platforms.
• Event Management: plan, prepare for, and support Saturday programming and events.
• Education & Programming: assist with teacher trainings and program sessions.
• Administrative Support: prepare materials and support day-to-day tasks like mailing and filing.
• Data Tracking & Organization: manage confidential student and academic information.
• Leadership: take initiative and help turn ideas into action.
