Cenovus Energy in Dublin, OH invites motivated students to join our Co-op/Internship program for a 4-month term starting May 2027. You will work within the Logistics, Marketing Operations, and Accounting & Finance streams, gaining hands-on experience and mentorship from industry professionals on meaningful projects.

This program emphasizes analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision making. You’ll develop reports, support scheduling, and contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a Business undergraduate program (Finance, Commerce, Economics, Accounting, Marketing areas preferred).
• Available to begin in May 2027 and return to full-time studies after the term.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. for the duration of the work term.

Responsibilities

• Logistics support daily management of Cenovus logistical functions including fleet planning, product scheduling, and inventory management.
• Provide analytical support to understand logistics movements, costs, and performance.
• Back-up support to pipeline, terminal, truck, and rail schedulers.
• Develop standard reports and respond to data requests.
• Participate in meetings with the Logistics team and other groups.
• Support Marketing Operations with reporting and data delivery.
• Assist with accounting/finance activities using SAP and other systems.
• Develop reports and identify trends using Excel and analytical tools.

This posting is for all internship/co-op positions in Dublin, OH. Possible placement may include the following majors: Logistics Marketing Operations Accounting & Finance. What You’ll Do

• Logistics Support daily management of all Cenovus logistical functions including fleet planning, product scheduling, & inventory management
• Provide analytical support to better understand and articulate logistics movements, costs and performance
• Provide back-up to pipeline, terminal, truck, and rail schedulers
• Develop standard reports and respond to data requests
• Participate in operational and planning meetings with the Logistics team and other functional groups
• Marketing Operations
• Develop and maintain standard reports, ensuring timely and accurate responses to ad hoc data requests
• Enhance performance reporting for marketing, trading, and scheduling teams, improving data accessibility and actionable insights
• Automate report generation and data delivery, streamlining communication with key stakeholders and improving operational efficiency
• Support economic, pricing, and forecasting functions by providing data-driven analysis to optimize decision-making processes
• Conduct in-depth market studies and analysis, identifying key trends and opportunities to inform business strategy
• Perform statistical analyses to provide valuable insights into business activities, supporting strategic planning and performance evaluation

Who You Are

Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum qualifications:

• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. full-time for the duration of your work term and able to produce documentation upon application (e.g., work visa).
• Available to begin work in May 2027.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Solid analytical and Microsoft Suite skills, specifically Excel.
• Excellent interpersonal, judgement, and decision-making skills.

Education Must be enrolled in a Business Undergraduate Program (Finance, Commerce, Economics, Accounting, Marketing areas preferred) at an accredited post-secondary institution at the time of intended work term and returning to full-time studies after the work term OR registered in an accredited post-secondary co‑op or internship program for the duration of the work term. Candidates currently enrolled in either a Masters or Ph.D. program at an accredited post-secondary institution may also be considered. New graduates are not eligible for student opportunities.

Working Conditions May include frequency of travel, sitting, standing, computer work, lifting, driving, working at site, etc.
