Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Student Worker - Functional to clean and maintain assigned areas in a way that meets customer and client expectations. The role emphasizes safety, adherence to procedures, and reliable upkeep of facilities in a fast-paced environment.

The position involves lifting and moving supplies, following all safety regulations, and contributing to a clean, secure, and well-maintained facility. It offers an opportunity to develop basic custodial skills and support Aramark's service

Qualifications

• Previous custodial experience preferred.
• Frequent lifting, pushing, or carrying over 50 lbs.
• Must follow safety procedures due to chemical exposure.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to established procedures to provide a safe working environment including complying with OSHA, state, local, federal, and Aramark regulations
• Maintains a clean and orderly environment to project the safety and health of others
• Properly cleans and maintains housekeeping equipment
• Cleans assigned areas to Aramark and client standards and requirements
• Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas
• Reports maintenance concerns via work order requests to appropriate personnel
• Secures the facility, ensuring building is locked/unlocked as required
• Ensures security of company assets
• This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).
