Job summary

University of Kentucky is seeking a Student Responsibility Coordinator to serve as a hearing officer within the Office of Student Conduct. The role adjudicates conduct cases, facilitates conflict management, and applies policy with sound judgment to support student accountability.

The SRC develops training on the Code of Student Conduct and works with staff, students, and partners to promote safe, respectful campus communities.

Qualifications

• Experience adjudicating student conduct cases and/or case management.
• Knowledge of student conduct administration and best practices.
• Experience coordinating, implementing, and facilitating educational programs, presentations, and trainings.
• Excellent interpersonal, critical thinking, decision making and verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and planning and organizational skills.
• Ability to demonstrate independent judgment; collaborative team player with high emotional intelligence.
• Experience with MS Windows, MS Office (Word, PowerPoint) and database management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and adjudicate student and registered student organization conduct cases.
• Facilitate conflict management processes and apply university policies.
• Review incident reports and assign appropriate conduct processes and developmental sanctions.
• Develop and deliver educational programming and trainings on the Code of Student Conduct.
• Collaborate with campus partners to support prevention efforts and student success.
• Support departmental operations, divisional initiatives, and university committees.
