Job summary

Paycom seeks a Financial Aid Specialist to support the administration and delivery of financial aid to prospective and current students. You will review documentation, determine eligibility, and ensure accurate processing in compliance with regulations.

Collaborate with Admissions and other offices to ensure timely processing, maintain confidential records, and explain aid programs to students. Strong organization and communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher preferred; finance-related experience encouraged.
• Previous financial aid and Title IV experience preferred but not required.
• Must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle confidential information.
• Strong communication, customer service, and computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist prospective and current students through the financial aid process.
• Review financial aid files for accuracy and follow up on missing documentation.
• Determine eligibility and package financial aid per established procedures.
• Maintain accurate, confidential financial aid records.
• Explain programs, eligibility, awards, and student responsibilities to students.
• Coordinate with Admissions, Student Records, Business Office and other departments for timely processing.
• Assist with reports, reconciliations, audits and compliance activities.
