Job summary

University of Central Oklahoma is seeking a FWSP Campus Promotions Assistant to help promote College of Fine Arts and Design performances, exhibitions and events across the campus. This role blends hands-on production work, outreach, and promotional support in a friendly ambassador capacity.

Responsibilities include preparing promotional materials, folding programs, distributing posters, maintaining displays, and assisting with event setup.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service, retail, event, volunteer or campus involvement is helpful but not required.
• Able to walk across campus and stand for extended periods while promoting events.
• Able to lift and carry boxes up to 25 lbs containing promotional materials and supplies.
• Strong verbal communication and friendly customer service.

Responsibilities

• Promote upcoming performances, exhibitions and events by engaging with students in high-traffic campus locations.
• Prepare promotional materials by trimming posters, flyers and other printed materials using department equipment; fold programs and assemble packets.
• Distribute posters, flyers and other promotional materials and maintain displays.
• Assist with campus deliveries and event setup; manage promotional samples and giveaways as needed.
