Job summary

Qualifications

• Becoming knowledgeable of state, local and federal regulations.
• Understand WMATA policies, procedures and safety rules.
• Demonstrate safe driving knowledge and route awareness.
• Be able to use basic computer-based reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Successfully completes Bus Operator and CDL training or attendance if already licensed.
• Inspect vehicles before and after operation and report safety issues.
• Operate a passenger bus on designated routes and provide courteous service.
• Complete and submit accident/incident reports per guidelines.
