Job summary

DS Bus South LLC is seeking a Bus Aide to assist students boarding the bus, accompany them during trips, and help ensure safe arrival at destination. The role emphasizes maintaining a secure bus environment so the Driver can concentrate on driving.

Training wages start at $8.00 per hour, with post-training compensation between $11.26 and $13.49 per hour. Responsibilities include greeting students, assisting as needed, conducting safety checks, and performing additional duties as assigned to

Qualifications

• Must be able to assist students boarding/deboarding the bus and keeping them safe.
• Ability to greet students warmly and support their needs as directed.

Responsibilities

• Help the Driver focus on driving the vehicle.
• Greet students in a pleasant manner.
• Help students as necessary to board and depart safely.
• Ensure all students arrive safely at their destination.
• Perform child checks at the conclusion of each duty tour.
• Maintain a safe environment on the bus at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
