Qualifications

• Master’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience required.
• Master’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Experience working with students with learning disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Meet one-on-one with a caseload of student-athletes to develop study and organizational skills.
• Create individualized learning plans and assess academic progress.
• Produce detailed daily session reports.
• Explore current educational trends for students with learning concerns.
• Develop and implement academic programming for selected student-athletes.
• Support the academic screening process for incoming student-athletes.
• Assist with Learning Assistant programming oversight.
• Assist with training within the Assistant Development Program.
• Ensure compliance with Baylor University policies, Big 12 and NCAA rules.
• Communicate any NCAA infractions to Athletic Compliance staff promptly.
• Perform other duties to support Baylor’s mission and attendance.
