Job summary

University of South Florida in Tampa seeks a Student Web Support and Data Specialist (Finance) to assist with existing ASP.NET and C# web applications, fix bugs, and add features. This 20-hour-per-week student role offers hands-on work in a dynamic environment.

  • Database Tasks: Write and optimize SQL queries in Microsoft SQL Server to support web forms and backend data flow and integrity.
  • Reporting: Build and update data visualizations and dashboards using HTML and Power BI.
  • Version Control: Manage code changes, pull requests, conflict resolution, and documentation using GitHub.

Position Overview & Goals

Role Title: Student Web Support and Data Specialist

Department: Academic Planning and Accreditation

Hours: 20 hours per week

Rate: 19.62 per hour

Required Qualifications
  • USF Graduate student currently enrolled in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
