  • Must be detail oriented, organized, responsible, and able to work independently.
  • Must be comfortable working in a laboratory setting and following lab safety guidelines.
  • Schedule flexibility must allow time each weekday to complete necessary ongoing daily tasks.

Job Summary

The student laboratory assistant will help with field work, prepare water samples for analyses, identify macroinvertebrates and maintain a clean and orderly workspace for ecology research studying the water quality effects of development at the Rowen site in Gwinnett County. The position will begin in Fall 2026 and could extend through Summer Fall 2028.
