Job description

This position is for candidates that are in school to become a BCBA.

Do meaningful work — as you move from learning to deliver care to beginning to lead

We’re looking for a certain kind of student: someone who chose this field because they actually want to change outcomes for children with autism, who shows up curious and coachable, and who understands that learning the science and doing the compassionate work aren’t two separate things — they’re the same thing.

We call them Teammates. We built Caravel for them. And if this sounds like you, here’s what walking through our door looks like.

  • Supervision that actually prepares you. This isn’t a “shadow and observe” role. You’ll work with clients alongside BCBAs who are invested in your growth, collecting real data on real cases, and getting the kind of structured feedback that builds clinical judgment — not just supervised hours toward your BACB fieldwork requirements.
  • A learning environment that takes you seriously. You’ll be part of a clinical team that treats your questions like they matter, because they do. At Caravel, students don’t sit on the sidelines. You’ll contribute to assessment, program development, and treatment — mentored by people who remember what it felt like to be where you are.
  • A culture that sets you up for what comes next.We know you’re building toward BCBA or BCaBA certification. We’ll help you get there — with structured fieldwork hours, exposure to evidence-based practice across clinic, home, school, and community settings, and a clear pathway toward the Student Analyst II role and beyond.
