Barry University is seeking a student to assist with marketing the School of Law to prospective students and the community. The ideal candidate will engage in various marketing projects, including writing news stories, creating social media content, and supporting events for incoming students.

This role is specifically for current Barry University School of Law students in good academic standing. The position involves developing marketing materials and performing clerical tasks as assigned.

• Assist with marketing projects such as writing items for news stories, blogs, bios, and website updates.
• Create content for social media platforms including on‑campus photography, basic photo/video/audio editing.
• Support law school marketing projects related to prospective and incoming students.
• Perform clerical duties as assigned by the Associate Dean.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by the Dean of the School of Law.

Position Summary

The student in this position will provide assistance with duties related to marketing the School of Law to prospective students and the community.

Essential Functions

• Assist with marketing projects such as writing items for news stories, blogs, bios, and website updates, and handling photography/video.
• Create content for social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, etc.) including on‑campus photography, basic photo/video/audio editing, short‑form blogging, and file/media organization.
• Support law school marketing projects related to prospective and incoming students (open house materials, orientation, admitted student events, etc.).
• Perform clerical duties as assigned by the Associate Dean (filing, copying, etc.).
• Carry out other duties as assigned by the Dean of the School of Law.

Currently enrolled Barry University School of Law students in good academic standing.
