Job summary

The New School is seeking Student Activity Group Leaders to support the Office of Student Engagement and the Student Activities Board. You will lead student‑led events, respond to inquiries, and help staff events both on campus and remotely.

As a current The New School student eligible for Work Study, you will commit to weekly Thursday meetings or Friday Zoom sessions, participate in hybrid scheduling, and contribute to a vibrant campus life through programming and documentation support.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled student at The New School and eligible for Federal Work Study.
• Demonstrated commitment to community building and teamwork.
• Reliable, organized, and communicative.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a SAB officer, hosting student-led events throughout the academic year (Fall/Spring) on and off campus.
• Respond to student inquiries related to student-led programming.
• Staff SLI-TE events as needed, and conduct meetings and office hours for SAB in person and remotely.
• Prepare for events and hold virtual office hours.
• Provide documentation and photography support at campus events and programs, when applicable.
